UWS has four separate Hostels for Junior, Middle and Senior Students. Generally there are 4 to 8 girls in each dorm. Each floor of the hostel has modern washrooms (toilet and bathing areas). Cleanliness is maintained by the Sahayikas, Room Attendant and the sweeperess on duty.
Students can collect their mail and packages from the House Mother's office. In the hostel there is a ‘study hall’ where students can do self study at night. Students have free time at weekends to watch T.V., listen music and read books and magazines in the Common room of their respective hostels.
Recreation- In order to relax in the houses few indore games are also available such as Ludo, Carrom board, Chess boards etc.
Each hostel provides an amiable atmosphere and a pollution-free environment, conducive to the mental, physical and spiritual development of the students which helps them to become self-reliant. The House Mother looks after the emotional needs of the students. She is a mentor and a guide steering the students towards character formation. The Matron provides motherly care and affection and looks after the basic needs of the children.
The Dean of Pastoral Care is involved with all facets of a student’s residential life. She is a disciplinary authority and a considerate counsel. She motivates and inspires the students to better themselves in all aspects of school life. The Management has taken various measures for modernizing the infrastructure. There is an active Pest Control System to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the Campus.
