We believe that education is broader than the confines of a classroom. Our provision in Performing Arts is exciting and well-resourced, with a broad array of activities available, presenting each girl with an opportunity to find her niche. Everyone is encouraged to ‘have a go’, whatever their level of ability.
Performing Arts
Our Performing Arts Department offers a broad range of opportunities including:
- Indian Vocal
- Indian Dance
- Western Dance
- Tabla
- Sitar
- Drums
- Guitar
- Keyboards.
Girls take examinations in Rock and Pop at various levels organized by Trinity College, London. Additionally, our girls also appear for Prayag Sangeet Samiti for Diploma examinations in Indian Classical music.
The Department also coordinates with SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) and organizes performances of various eminent artists at school.
