Unison World School shall seek girl candidates from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, who demonstrate a desire to continuously learn and grow. The School’s academic session commences in April each year. The School accepts registration for Grades V to IX and XI (CISCE) and for IGCSE and A Levels (CAIE). Each academic year is divided into two terms as follows:
First Term - 1st April to 30th September Second Term - 1st October to 31st March
Procedure for Registration
The candidate/parent shall fill the 'Application for Registration' and submit to the School Admissions Office along with the prescribed Registration Fee and the following documents:
1. Birth Certificate (in English) 2. Two recent passport size Colored Photographs of the candidate 3. Copy of Permanent Address Proof 4. Copy of Passport (for overseas students)
Entry age to Grade V at the start of the academic session is 9+ years. Add one year to every class thereafter.
The acceptance of the ‘Application for Registration’ and fee does not guarantee admission to the prospective student.
If the ‘Application for Registration’ is found to be correct, a confirmation of the registration is dispatched to the parents.
An Admit Card along with the syllabus, date of General Aptitude Test (GAT) and sample question papers are dispatched to the parents.
General Aptitude Test
For Grades V-IX - Tested on proficiency in English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Grade XI Science - Tested on proficiency in English, Integrated Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) and Logical Reasoning
For Grade XI Commerce - Tested on proficiency in English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Grade XI Humanities - Tested on proficiency in English, Social Science (History, Civics, Geography and Economics) and Logical Reasoning
Based on the performance in the General Aptitude Test, a merit list of the candidates is declared. A Provisional Admission Letter is sent to the parents of successful applicants. These parents are required to complete all the admission formalities including the payment of School fees and other applicable charges by the scheduled date.
A rebate of 10% in the School fee is admissible to the second girl child of the same parent.
