A poor or dull diet has a significant effect on children's behaviour, mood and concentration. Healthy eating is promoted as part of a normal daily diet and lifestyle. Food matters, and we take it seriously.
Our highly experienced Catering Services Manager and staff look after the kitchen operations. Exceptional food hygiene is maintained across the entire facility. The department uses wholesome fresh foods for main meals and the chefs are skilled and trained to a high level. Freshly made main course dishes are cooked from raw ingredients with the use of frozen foods limited to select items, when they appear on the menu. Fresh vegetables, lentils, salad and fruit are available daily, as are regular tea time favourites, such as homemade cakes. Although our food is predominantly vegetarian, we do serve eggs during different meals of the day.

Our constant endeavour is to minimize unnecessary use of oil, too much of sugar and ingredients which are artificially prepared.
A qualified nutritionist ensures that a balanced and healthy diet is served. The mess continuously invites feedback from all diners through the Mess Committee and is flexible enough to accommodate popular choices.
We take pride in the fact that our Catering Officer has been drawn from the stables of the famed Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Another Chef de Cuisine is a Chef visiting us on a weekly basis from Hotel JP Residency Manor, Mussoorie.
